Twilight DVD Release Party

On March 20th, my friend and I ventured out to Borders to secure our place amongst all the  Twilight fans to buy our Twilight DVD’s. I asked the person at Information Desk how to get the DVD. She told me that all the wristbands were gone. They were giving them out since 9:00 AM!!Anyway, she did say that there might be a chance of getting one if they had some extra copies.
The party started at 10:00 PM with a Twilight Trivia Game. The question was an event that occurred in the story and the answer was either “BOOK” or “MOVIE”.  I got most of them correct!
After the Trivia Game, Borders held a Scavenger Hunt. The participant had to race around the store to find books, CD’s, DVD’s, and magazines that related to the movie and write the titles down next to the particular question. (I, of course, called my husband to look some of this information up for me . LMAO!)

Twilighters Gather for Party

After the festivities, the Borders Representative told the crowd that they were totally out of DVD’s and that there were no extras. I was not very happy about this announcement.  My friend and I left Borders empty handed and feeling defeated.

However, we decided to go to Wal-Mart. The line was not too long and they had plenty of DVD’s in stock. In the long run, I am glad that we bought our DVD’s there as it was $7.00 cheaper than Borders!

I have to say that this Away mission was quite fun, yet it was very challenging. I love DVD/Book Release Parties!
